National Museum of Scotland

Explore the diversity of the natural world, world cultures, art and design, science and technology and Scottish history, all under one roof at the National Museum of Scotland.

Exciting galleries, interesting objects and new events means there's fun to be had for all, from talks and workshops for adults to taking a ride on the Magic Carpet for younger children.

From the age of dinosaurs to the technology of the future, our galleries contain treasures from around the world. From meteorites to monsters from the deep, our Natural World galleries tell the story of our planet, while our World Cultures gallery link people and possessions across the globe.
