Hidden Treasures: "Weavers’ Triangle" walk

Join a guided walk along the towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal through the Victorian industrial area now known as the “Weavers’ Triangle”. The Weavers’ Triangle Visitor Centre at Burnley Wharf has displays about Burnley’s industrial and social history. The walk ends at the Oak Mount Mill Engine House which has an open day between 2 and 4 p.m. Find out about the canal and some of the buildings that were at the heart of Burnley’s cotton industry and the new uses that are being found for them today.

Level access to towpath. Access to engine house is up a flight of steps.
