As part of an ongoing commitment to help ensure that its collections are accessible to everyone, The Fitzwilliam Museum has produced a short brochure containing Access Information for visitors. This provides details on opening times, how to get to the museum, physical access and facilities, as well as information for visitors with visual and hearing impairments. The brochure is available at the entrance desks at the museum and on request in advance of a visit. It will also be distributed to libraries and other organisations in Cambridge and beyond. As well as the printed version, the brochure can be obtained in audio format (on CD or tape), Braille and large print. The Museum is also able to supply large print and tactile floor plan diagrams, and an audio description of getting into the building. Please contact fitzmuseum-access@lists.cam.ac.uk or telephone 01223 332928 or 332900 with your requirements.
