Christmas Carnival

This Christmas join the party and share a festive day out with family and friends. Both inside and out, the displays take inspiration from the wondrous festivals and celebrations conjured up by Waddesdon’s treasured artworks – from sumptuous feasts, lavish gifts and masked balls to theatre, fancy dress and fairy tales – there is something for everyone at the Christmas Carnival. Treat yourself to a festive afternoon tea, shop for unusual gifts at the Christmas Fair (10 Nov-16 Dec) and enjoy a mulled wine with friends. From dusk see Waddesdon’s gardens illuminated; walk the light trail around the Aviary gardens, see the Manor facade bathed in colour and watch a 3D light and sound show at the Stables. Families can enjoy an advent calendar inspired trail through the decorated rooms of the house (advance booking essential for house tickets) and children can decorate their own bauble to take home with them.
