Halloween Late

This October, we bring you a Halloween night inspired by the supernatural stories of our two historic houses. For this year’s Museums at Night festival, we bring you an evening of live music, performances and interactive activities to celebrate the darker sides of the lives and music of Handel & Hendrix. In Handel House, there will be live operatic performances and Baroque music throughout the evening. A variety of Georgian characters from Handel’s London will be brought to life in the great composer’s Music & Composition Rooms. Meanwhile in the Hendrix Flat, join Art Macabre artists to create your own psychedelic-pagan inspired poster designs. Take a trip back in time and commune with wild spirits of creativity as you listen to a soundtrack of psychedelic tunes. Express yourself in colourful designs to take home, on a night when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Top top all this off there will be tarot reading, face painting and a pop-up bar featuring a few surprises.
