International Women's Day

There will be the chance to join in with our Suffragette rallies in The 1900s Town at 11am and 2pm each day, as well as learn about the role of women in the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s in the different areas around the museum. In The Pit Village school visitors can also make a rosette in suffragette colours and on Saturday, 10th March there will be the singing of women’s songs.
