William Morris in the Cotswolds

Evening Lecture with Juliet Heslewood Thursday 26 October, 7-8.30pm William Morris is known for his association with the Pre-Raphaelite painters. His work in the Cotswolds, through ‘Morris & Co’ can be seen in many church windows. Less known are the significant periods of time he spent here, not only at his home, Kelmscott, but while staying with friends in Broadway. Here his ideas for the protection of British buildings took root. Juliet Heslewood MA, is an author and art historian. Juliet studied History of Art at London University and later gained an MA in English Literature at Toulouse. Booking recommended
