Free Gallery Talk
At Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery we have one of the finest Latin inscriptions in the country. The people of Wroxeter put it up in honour of the Emperor Hadrian, who almost certainly visited the Roman town in person.
If you would like to find out more about this inscription, you are invited to join a short free gallery talk on Thursday 7th September at 1.30 in the Roman gallery.
