International Museum Day 2017

For International Museum Day 2017, we are offering visitors free guided tours of our exhibitions. At 11 am, there will also be a family workshop about the museum’s architecture.

The theme of this year’s Museum Day is Museums and Contested Histories: Saying the Unspeakable in Museums. We’ve put together the following program for our visitors:


11-12 am: Through the Museum in Seven-League Boots (in German)

11am - 1pm: Familiy Workshop: The Crazy Crooked House (in German)

1-2 pm/ 3-4pm/ 5-6pm: Architectural Observations (in German)

2-3 pm: Cherchez la femme (in German)



Participation will be free of charge with the purchase of a museum ticket (8 euros standard, 3 euros reduced). There’s no need to reserve. Just show up.
