What Matters? brings together work from two very different age groups and shows how creativity can aid health and wellbeing for people whatever their age.
‘Art in Life’ is a group of mature individuals which came together as a group just over a year ago. Initially the group was funded by Cheshire Community Foundation and this year it has been supported by Warrington Borough Council. Working alongside this group are the children who attend after school classes at BloomingArt in the Cultural Quarter.
Both groups have limited painting experience but the work on show in this exhibition demonstrates what can be achieved in a short space of time. By exploring their inner artist and using the canvas as a tool for expression, interesting and personal art is produced. It also shows how creativity can aid health and wellbeing for all age groups.
Both groups have worked together on this exhibition to show what really matters to them.
