Evening Lecture - Skeletons in the Storeroom – with Craig Jones Thursday 27 April - 7-8.30pm Abstract- Skeletons in the storeroom will introduce an overview of the techniques used in the analysis of skeletal remains,that help inform our understanding of past societies. A range of periods will be covered, but a particular focus will be on the Early Anglo-Saxon societies of Britain. The presentation will also include the results of the latest analysis on the Butler's Field cemetery at Lechlade, where familial kinship was investigated through skeletal traits.
