Discover the grisly truth about some of the world’s most ruthless rulers, their beastly behaviour and disgraceful downfalls. Activities include storytelling, dramatic performances, hands on history sessions and animation workshops. Gallery performances See history come to life with action-packed gallery performances, including: • Tales of some of the most unusual and gruesome royal deaths • Richard III – a ‘CSI’ style forensic approach to exploring how we find out how people died • The Battle of Hastings • Vlad the Impaler • Agincourt – combat demonstrations with sword and shield (All performances last about 20 minutes) And don’t forget to look out for kings and queens roaming the museum, who’ll tell you all about their horrible deaths! Museum admission is free, but some activities carry a small charge.
