Seaside Songs with Sally Tonge

Come and sing songs of the sea, swish in the fabric ocean, fiddle with finger fish, bob in a boat and talk like a pirate. A session of playful songs and story ideas for the museum's youngest visitors and their families with Shropshire's very own 'Sally Song'!! Shrewsbury Museum’s summer exhibition invites you to roll up your trouser legs and take a trip to the beach. Beautiful images from the Museum’s glass lantern slide collection evoke a day at the Edwardian seaside. This fun, interactive exhibition includes a replica bathing machine, coconut shy, railway scene and a sandy beach complete with deck chairs!
