Spotting & Jotting Seabirds with Matt Sewell

One of the events in connection with our Edwardian seaside exhibition 'Oh! I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside'. Come and paint watercolour seabirds with local artist Matt Sewell author of bestselling books ‘Our Garden Birds’ and ‘Penguins’. All ages and artistic capabilities welcome. Suitable for over 8s accompanied by an adult. Shrewsbury Museum’s summer exhibition invites you to roll up your trouser legs and take a trip to the beach. Beautiful images from the museum’s glass lantern slide collection evoke a day at the Edwardian seaside. This fun, interactive exhibition include a replica bathing machine, coconut shy, railway scene and a sandy beach complete with deck chairs!
