Painting Portraits!

“Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived;” we all know the saying about the fate of Henry VIII’s wives, but did you know he also gave Bethlem Hospital our “Royal” title? As such, we have a portrait of the well-known King in our temporary exhibition “Bethlem: the Weight of History,” alongside other portraits of important figures from Bethlem’s history. Think you can do any better? It’s you chance to paint a portrait to take home! Why not paint someone who’s important to you, your family or perhaps even important to the world? This is a free drop-in event, donations are accepted. You can register your interest at the link provided.
