Ruta Cultural El paisaje fabril de Onda / Cultural Route The manufacturing landscape of Onda
El sábado día 21 de mayo tuvo lugar la Ruta Cultural El paisaje fabril de Onda incluida nuestra programación especial para commemorar el Día Internacional de los Museos 2016 bajo el lema Museos y paisajes culturales, planteado por el ICOM.
El Director del Museo, D. Vicent Estall i Poles dirigió la ruta a través de aquellas antiguas fábricas cerámicas, hoy en estado de abandono, que desde hace generaciones han conformado el skyline, el paisaje cultural de Onda, y que es inherente a la memoria colectiva de la ciudad y su gente.
El recorrido se inició en la fábrica La Campana, seguido de La Fabriqueta, la Fàbrica dels Cantirs, La Esperanza, el horno de La Palmera y, para finalizar, se realizó una visita comentada a la exposición fotográfica Sustancia quemada, de Milena Villalba, en nuestro Museo. Exposición, por cierto, realizada también con motivo del DIM2016, enlazando así ambas actividades englobadas dentro de la programación para el Día Internacional de los Museos.

Saturday May 21th took place the Cultural Route The manufacturing landscape of Onda included in our special programme because of the International Museum Day 2016 under the slogan Museums and Cultural Landscapes, raised by ICOM.
The Director of the Museum, Mr. Vicent Estall i Poles led the route through those ancient ceramic factories, today in state of abandonment, that since several generations has shaped the skyline, the cultural landscape of Onda, and that is inherent in the collective memory of the city and its people.
The journey started in La Campana factory, followed by La Fabriqueta, the Fàbrica dels Cantirs, La Esperanza, La Palmera and, finally, they enjoy with a guided visit to the photographical exhibition Burnt Substance, by Milena Villalba, in our Museum. Exhibition, also performed on the occasion of the DIM2016, by the way, linking so both activities included in the programme for the International Museum Day.
