Rebel Rebel

LAST FEW TICKETS REMAINING - PLEASE CALL FOR AVAILABILITY Jean-Féry Rebel (1666 – 1747) was an innovative French Baroque composer, violinist, harpsichordist and conductor. He was a real rebel of his time as many of his compositions are quite original, based on complex counter-rhythms and audacious harmonies they were not fully appreciated by listeners of his time and may still sound shocking nowadays. Royal Baroque make their Handel House debut with an exquisite programme of music by this revolutionary composer.
