International Museum Day / Giornata Internazionale dei Musei

The objective of International Museum Dayis is to raise awareness of the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”

For the International Museum Day,organized by ICOM, Palazzo Branciforte gives the opportunity to visit the site at 3 euro instead of 7 and offers  a special activity realted to the main topic of 2016: Museums and cultural landscapes.

In fact, the temporary exhibition dedicated to Jean-Pierre Houël offers a special view of Sicilian landscapes, shaped by the Greek architecture and impresses in the imagery of the island.
