Step back in time to the roaring 20s and 30s of Dundee, a time of jazz, cinema, comic books and much more. Hold onto your hats as the museum comes to life with dancing, music and costume from the time. You’ll also have the chance to meet Harold Plenderleith - “who?” we hear you say - well Plenderleith, a veritable hero of the museum world, revolutionised the conservation of museum objects after gaining his education in Dundee. There will be special screenings of a film clip showing Dundee in the 1930s, and highlights from our oral history archive will ensure you’re fully submerged in the era.
