Summer Steamings at Bolton Steam Museum

Our volunteers have rescued and restored 30 old stationary steam engines. We have collected a wide range of different types of engine, incuding some which are now unique - the only one of its type left in the world! The oldest is almost 150 years old, and most are over 100 years old. Come and see these magnificent monsters, marvels of British Victorian engineering, restored and running once again!
