An illustrated lecture examining the Life, Death and Martyrdom of the 9th Century King of Anglia. Due to the Saint's association with the cult of miracles, Bury St Edmunds was a centre of Pilgrimage and the town's Abbey became one of the largest and most wealthy foundations in Europe.
