Jane Robinson, author of In the Family Way: Illegitimacy Between the Great War and the Swinging Sixties published by Viking in early 2015, explores the concept of illegitimacy and its impact on mothers, fathers and children in the first half of the twentieth century. Afterwards, award winning saxophone quartet The Laefer Quartet perform a selection of contemporary pieces.
