Walk in the shoes of past Londoners and hunt the galleries by torchlight in this special after hours’ event for children. Enjoy three immersive and hands on activities throughout the night exploring London’s history from the Romans to the Victorians:
What do you know about the Roman armies who invaded Britain? Specialist Roman reenactors from Legio Secunda Augusta will teach you to drill to Latin commands under their watchful gaze!
Award-winning children’s illustrator, Salvatore Rubbino, will lead the creation of a large art work inspired by the Great Fire of London
Walk in the shoes of a Victorian detective. A mysterious character will help your quest as you seek clues by torchlight. Will you be the first to solve the puzzle?
Bed down in the museum for lights out at midnight, before a bright and early breakfast and a family friendly film in the morning.
Storage for belongings will be provided for those who want to continue visiting the museum when it opens at 10am.
