Canada native Wendy McNeill brings back her “Folk Noir” to Haus der Musik. Her sixth album “One colour more” released one year ago, reflects her experience during 10 years of being on tour. Her songs are at once playful, earnest and sophisticated.

Her album it is said, tells stories that are equally biting, whacky, clever and moving. Being able to tell stories is what makes Wendy McNeill write songs. For her there is no better way to express her feelings and thoughts. And “a beautiful story can bring out the best in a person.”
