This exhibition will showcase the work of Woking born craftsman, Richard Batterham, a towering figure in the narrative of British studio ceramics.
After working under both Don Potter and Bernard Leach, Batterham established his own studio in Dorset where he continues to make a range of stoneware pottery in his unmistakable personal style. His work, with its subtle wood ash glazes, takes influences from both Korean and English pottery.
The selection has been brought together from a local collection as well as the Crafts Study Centre, University for the Creative Arts, Farnham.
