The festival continues the tradition of folklore feasts in Kolomenskoye. The genuine monuments of the XVII-XVIII century Russian wooden architecture will serve as its scenery.
Every guest coming to the festival can find an occupation to his or her liking: you can take part in active games and khorovod (round dance) or cose in soft poufs or on the grass and enjoy the concert.
The festival involves professional and amateur creative teams including child and adult ensembles of the Russian song and folk dance, folklore, vocal-choreographic and theatrical teams and studios, choirs and folk instrument orchestras, historic reenactment clubs and solo performers.
At the same time you can visit the handicraft fair. Masters and craftsmen will represent their works and give free master-classes on production of traditional hand-made dolls, painting on wood and silk, bead weaving, creation of finery and necklaces of leather, felt, and textile, on pottery etc.
The festival will continue on 23 and 30 May as well as 6 and 12 June, 2015
