Midnight Apothecary

Hailed in 2015 by Red Magazine and To Do List one of the 24 best places to drink outside in London, Midnight Apothecary opens its doors as part of the Museums at Night Festival. Lovers of Wild Cocktails (now a best selling book), campfires, flowers, riverside sunsets and Greek Souvlaki (yes, really)– you may have found nirvana. Our Cocktail Gardener has been busy infusing, distilling and generally cooking up a storm of brand new cocktail creations based on ingredients in our garden and out in the wild (we cannot wait for you to try them). This season we are also delighted to welcome back mouthwatering hot delights in the form of I Should Be Souvlaki – two handsome men and their Great Greek Grill. Best friends Tom and Chris will be dishing up delicious authentic Greek pita souvlaki fresh off the grill every Saturday night. Stop by the stall for fluffy bread filled with marinated grilled chicken, pork or halloumi oozing with the scent of garlic, lemon oregano and mint, with chips, tomato, red onion and tzatziki. The perfect accompaniment to our cocktails! Tickets to the Saturday events will include entry to the museum, complimentary toasted marshmallows, optional guided descent into the underground chamber….and the usual giant flares, hurricane lamps. Money raised from ticket sales will also help raise money for a new entrance and staircase for a new concert hall in Brunel’s huge underground shaft below the cocktail garden and avoid overcrowding in the garden.
