International Museum Day in Technical Museum of Slovenia
To celebrate
International Museums Day in 2015 the theme “
Museums for a sustainable society” was chosen. You are warmly welcome to celebrate the day with us on Sunday, 17. may, at the Technical Museum Slovenia.
The programme of events at the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra near Vrhnika:
- 10.00: Let the work be heard! Interactive guided tour for children
- 11.30: Machiny, Puppet show for children (Theatre of WORK, duration: 25 min)
In pursuit of his heart a little machine is having problems with understanding as well as with communication. The children will therefore be able to visualize, hear and see for themselves, how the little machine is speaking and living.

History can not only be read, it can also be heard. This performance will not only be filled with sound, but also with visual elements, that will introduce the development of the machines.

- 16.30: Stairs to the madness Crime puppet drama (Theatre of WORK, duration: 30 min)

- 17.30: Battle of machines

At 10:00 and 15:00: Guided tour of collections with an emphasis on modern telecommunications
