Easter Fun at York Castle Museum

Join us this Easter for exciting egg-themed activities at York Castle Museum. Easter Trail Available every day, 9:30am – 5pm Can you follow the special Easter Trail around the museum and solve all the clues to be in with a chance to win a special chocolate egg? 50p per trail Create at the Castle Every day, 10am – 5pm Easter themed family art and crafts activities available. Plus have a go at our Egg and Spoon obstacle course! Cosy Eggs Wednesday 1 April and Wednesday 8 April, 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm Make an Easter themed Egg Cosy to take home. Hot Cross Buns Daily, Castle Kitchen, 10am – 4pm Follow your nose this Easter and see what’s cooking in the Castle Kitchen as we try out and compare Victorian and modern recipes for the Easter favourite, Hot Cross Buns. Egg Decorating Competition Saturday 4 April and Saturday 11 April, 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm Join in with our competition to decorate your egg as a Victorian, followed by the chance to roll your egg in the riverside area at 12pm and 3pm. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated eggs!
