J.M. Staniforth produced over 1350 cartoons over the course of the war, particularly for The Western Mail. A new project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund will digitise these works and create an interactive website where people can add commentaries and observations on each cartoon.
The talk is given by Dr Rhianydd Biebrach who is Project Officer, has a PhD in Medieval Welsh history and teaches at the universities of Swansea and South Wales.
