Designed to Dazzle: Georgian Royal Interiors and Furniture

Explore the fascinating and glittering world of Georgian royal interiors and furniture. Start the day at Kensington Palace, where Curator Deirdre Murphy and Project Surveyor Matt Stafford will give you an insight into the recent restoration of the King’s State Apartments. The afternoon will include a visit to The First Georgians: Art & Monarchy 1714–1760 at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace where Rufus Bird, Deputy Surveyor of The Queen's Works of Art, will explore the transformation in British furniture in royal interiors during the reigns of the first two Georges.
