Carve a Wooden Bowl

Learn the basics of woodcarving with this hands-on course whilst carving a leaf-shaped bowl which can be taken home at the end of the day. Jess Jay has been carving for 30+ years and tutored the subject at South Downs College. He has attended courses by renowned woodcarvers Ian Norbury and Michael Painter, and he now currently tutors at two courses in the Fareham and Waterlooville areas. He is a Member of the Solent Guild of Woodcarvers and Sculptors and also demonstrates at the Museum once a month with the Daywood Carvers. He holds an accredited certificate in tutoring.

Admission
£65.00 per person, to include tuition, teas and coffees. The Museum café will be open or you can bring a packed lunch.
