The damage caused by a stroke can be widespread and long lasting, and rehabilitation can be slow but it is the topic of much on-going scientific research. Join Dr Nick Ward from the stroke research group at the UCL Institute of Neurology as he explores the reorganisation of brain networks to support recovery; and hear from Dr Gillian Mead from The University of Edinburgh who will discuss the importance of exercise after a stroke.
