What a Drag

Drag, also known as air resistance, is the force that air exerts on aircraft which slows them down. Follow a trail around our collections to see how this has shaped aeroplanes before learning more through science demonstrations with our facilitators. Then build your own model parachutist. Presented by National Museums Scotland. The museum is open every Saturday and Sunday until spring. Please check opening times before visiting.
