Illustrated talk by glass artist Amanda Lawrence

The main event of the evening will be an informative illustrated talk by Gloucestershire glass artist Amanda Lawrence. Talk title: Slad Valley Under the Skin Glass artist Amanda Lawrence set out to get ‘under the skin’ of Gloucestershire's Slad Valley, exploring it over two years with camera, sketchbook and sound recorder. She will be talking about the project and showing some of the collection of engraved and kiln formed glass it has inspired. This will be accompanied by a finger buffet beforehand and a more practical hands-on session relating to the glass work of Amanda Lawrence.
