Britannia metal teapot with gadrooned body, frilled top and scrolled handle at the top. The lid is hinged onto the body and has a white ceramic knob. Body and lid are stamped with incised flower design. On each side of the body of the kettle are two 'spikes', which rest in ledges on the rusticated stand. The stand is possibly a copper alloy, in the style of wooden sticks and has a space for a spirit light.
