Redoubt Fortress & Military Museum
The Redoubt has defended the Eastbourne coast for over 200 years. One of the South Coast's most unique landmarks, the Redoubt was named one of the top ten military museums in the UK. This magnificent building hosts the rich military collections of The Royal Sussex Regiment, The Queen's Royal Irish Hussars and the Sussex Combined Services. Visit our vintage syle cafe, The Outpost and try our delicious Hussars Hot Chocolate or a Colonel's Coffee Break. The Redoubt also has a vibrant events programme, including historical talks, object handling sessions and film screenings!
The Redoubt offers a fantastic value day out with FREE entry to the parade ground and gun platforms, plus great offers on entry fees to the military museum. Book group visits in advance or buy tickets online. Plus get one FREE return visit this year with every ticket purchased!
