Schokoladenmuseum Köln
The Chocolate Museum was opened on 31 December 1993 in the heart of Cologne. The first new building in the Rheinau harbour constructed to resemble a ship made of glass and metal, it is located at the northern tip of a new section of the city, a new urban planning highlight for this metropolis on the Rhine.
This museum is the only chocolate museum in the world in which visitors can experience everything about this wonderful, favourite food product.
By its 15th anniversary on 31 October 2008, more than 7.5 million guests from all over the world had learned about the mysteries of chocolate. It is among the ten most visited museums in Germany.
