STORIEL

The aim of Gwynedd Museum and Art Gallery is to contribute towards the understanding of the history and culture of Gwynedd and its people by collecting caring for and providing access to its collections so that everyone can share its rich heritage.

STORIEL (formerly known as the Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery, Bangor) is located in the University City of Bangor. It is the county museum and gallery for Gwynedd and is one of two museums directly run by Gwynedd Council’s Economy and Community Department (Museum and Arts Service). It has an active programme of temporary exhibitions in the museum and gallery, special events and has a permanent display of museum collections relating to various aspects of life in Gwynedd through the ages. It also has a gift shop selling art and crafts.
