Canalside Heritage Centre
Located in historic 18 century weir cottages on Beeston lock, the Canalside Heritage Centre is a vibrant hub for visitors to enjoy and explore, with an enticing tea room, welcoming gift shop and interpretation centre, as well as tranquil gardens and lots of activities to delight in.
Visitos can enjoy a walk along the river or the canal, either with one of our volunteer walk leaders or at their leisure, as well as discovering the rich heritage of the waterways through our permanent and temporary exhibitions.
