Dudley Museum at the Archives

This modern building is designed to tell the story of Dudley (and the wider Black Country) through time.

The galleries are arranged as a timeline which give a series of snapshots of our amazing history. The story begins with the mining that uncovered other, deeper stories of the ancient worlds that were once here and follows changes to the landscape through to the artistic and tourism opportunities of today's Dudley borough. 

At the start of your journey, sit back and watch an audio/visual telling of history and heritage of the wider Black Country and Dudley.

At the end of your visit you will find the Geopark Gallery; this is where you can find further information to continue your exploration of Dudley borough and beyond.
