Milntown was the former family home of the Christian family who lived in the imposing building since the early 16th century.
The house and grounds were left in trust by the last owner of the estate, Sir Clive Edwards, with the express wish that they be made available to the public.
Take a tour of the house and see the main hall, dining room, bedrooms and library where you’ll find a collection of books and magazines associated with motor racing as well as paintings, ceramics and silverware.
There’s also an impressive collection of vintage cars and motorcycles which can be viewed by arrangement. These classic machines are still in roadworthy condition and can often be seen at many special events on the Island.
The onsite restaurant also has extensive views of the walled gardens.
