The Reiss-Engelhorn-Museums are devoting this special exhibition "Chromatics" to the world of contemporary glass art. Its focus is on the interplay of light and colour. The material glass is usually associated with transparency and colourness. The exhibition exposes this cliché and presents 36 highlights from the Peter and Traudl Engelhorn Collection of the mudac/Lausanne. It assembles exhibits from the late 1960s to the present day, including works by renowned artists from Europe and the USA. The objects are captivating with their wide range of shapes and colour nuances. In addition to their aesthetic charm, the exhibits also play with the emotions of the beholders.
