Stories Fired in Porcelain – Secrets of the Carl Tielsch Factory

We invite all enthusiasts of Carl Tielsch porcelain to a lecture by passionate collectors of Silesian products, Irena and Roman Gatys. The Gatys family will share stories about porcelain from the Carl Tielsch factory, presenting curiosities, documents, and unpublished information about the Wałbrzych factory. They will explain the functionality of interesting porcelain items from the past and discuss the process of building their collection. The Silesian Porcelain Museum holds interesting exhibits from the Tielsch factory in its collection, which are available for viewing.

The lecture will take place at the Silesian Porcelain Museum in Tułowice in the technology hall on the ground floor, on September 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM.

During the lecture, the "Exhibit of the Month," from the collectors' collection and available for viewing at our exhibition, will be presented and discussed.
