Sauceboat

Sauceboat of elongated helmet shape form, raised on a shallow foot. Decorated on one side with wreath of laurel and oak leaves tied with a bow and the cypher of Louis Philippe surmounted by a crown also in gold. The rim and foot-rim are edged in gold. Made for the Chateau de St. Cloud. Size: Length: 21.5 cm.
