Belfast, was launched on the 7thMarch 1935, by the Duchess of Abercorn. The steamer is for the Heysham - Belfast Service and has restaurants, smoke rooms and lounges for both First and Third Class passengers. The "Duke of York" is equipped with mechanical stokers and an automatic sprinkler and fire alarm system is fitted throughout the passenger accommodation.
