Description: Band sampler, yellow linen, embroidered with polychrome silks in double back, cross, eyelet hole, double running and satin stitch. The sampler comprises eight horizontal bands which feature repeat border patterns, alphabets, numerals, a narrow edge design and the inscriptions " 'SARAH WeeDON" and "IN THE YeARe 1683".
