Description: Band sampler, unbleached linen, embroidered with blue crewel wool and a little brown sillk and red wool in cross, four sided cross and double running stitch. The top of the sampler is filled with parts of three sprigs and a repeat border design. Beneath this are 15 horizontal bands comprising alphabets and more border designs. The edges have some short lengths of needle lace stitches.
