This shroud belonged to a lady called Tashay who lived during the Roman period, 140-160 AD. They show a mixture of Greek, Roman and Egyptian styles. Tashay is shown in Greek dress, but the gods are typically Egyptian. The winged scarab awakens Tashay to a new life.
