Red pottery offering tray. 114/5 on circular adhesive label (lot). Square shape. In shape of courtyard with four staircases, or possibly a cistern or well. A number of Old Kingdom stone offering trays seem to have had steps, perhaps suggesting a link with the sacred lakes e.g. that in the Valley Temple of Menkaure. No offerings are depicted. Originally part of Rustafjaell collection purchased by Wellcome in 1906.
